Alexander Technique

A gentle, hands-on approach that helps children become aware of habitual movement patterns and develop more efficient, balanced ways of moving. Particularly helpful for posture, coordination, and reducing tension. Pausing and taking time allows for more efficient and comfortable whole-body patterns to emerge.

Sensory Processing

While helping children understand and regulate sensory input from their environment, there is support for focus, emotional comprehension, and participation in daily activities and guidance for modulating responses to proprioceptive, vestibular and interoceptive input.

Developmental Movement

Rooted in infant and early childhood movement patterns, developmental movement therapy revisits foundational motor skills and the transitions in and out of postures to improve coordination, body awareness, and learning. From rolling to sitting to crawling to moving to stand, primitive reflexes are explored.
